Switchfire SONAR
Both novice and seasoned fishermen will appreciate Switchfire SONAR. It enables you to customize the way you view SONAR returns on-screen. There are two modes: MAX mode, which sharpens the sensitivity of the signals to a point where you can see anything and everything that gives even the faintest echo, and CLEAR mode, which skips over some of the smaller returns while displaying only strong echoes, allowing you to clean up your screen and make sense of structure and depth.
SONAR Recording
You can make recordings of whatever SONAR readings your Humminbird fish finder picks up using a memory card, which is an excellent method to maintain and study what you saw beneath the surface.
DualBeam Plus
Humminbird’s DualBeam Plus is a Humminbird-exclusive innovation that uses two SONAR beams at the same time. One is a narrow 20 degree beam that is highly concentrated directly below your boat, while the other is a wider 60 degree beam that covers a substantially larger area. You can display data from both beams in split screen or as one image to get the most comprehensive SONAR coverage available.
